"I finished my bootcamp, switched careers, and went from law to tech. Was able to land a position as a junior user experience designer at a software company and my life has changed completely. I used to be so unhappy and dreaded waking up in the morning. Now I love what I do, appreciate my team, and feel like I have a purpose."
"I completed a software engineering bootcamp and went from basically only knowing HTML and CSS to making a bunch of full-stack apps. the course was 9-5 with 4 hours of homework so it was basically my whole life for 3 months. I didn’t think I could do it at some points but I did. lots of people dropped out but i made it through! I still haven’t found a job but I'm hopeful and excited for my first software engineering role! manifesting a job in 2023 after all my struggles and difficulties with getting a job!"
"I completed my Data Science masters in February this year, was doing it while I was working full time so I'm really happy to be done with it. Got into a very competitive free Data Engineering bootcamp and finished it this year too. I have been wanting to learn Data Engineering for a long time so was really happy about it. Negotiated my salary at my my current company so that I can get my current market value, 40% raise and a promotion. Feel very happy with what I have accomplished this year, hoping in 2023 I will be able to leave the agency analytics world."
"I left my middle school teaching job (did not want to stay for relaxed COVID policies) and started a Senior Product Ops role at a health tech company. Sadly, I got laid off in October, but I've been teaching myself to code. My first big project got 500 upvotes in r/Python! Looking forward to finding a new role in 2023 (maybe a dev role!)."
