This Privacy Policy describes what information we may collect from you, and how we may use that information.


It is Frontity’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website or services.

References to Frontity or “we” refer to the current controller for processing your personal information, as indicated below.
We use the term “Designated Countries” to refer to Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, and all countries located in Europe (including the UK and ROI).

PRIVACY POLICY

Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and free movement of such data, as well as any other applicable legislation regarding data protection, we hereby furnish full details of our Privacy Policy.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect information you provide to us, including, but not limited to:

  • Community Forum Registration: If you use our community forum, we collect any information that you make available to us when accessing or using the forum. This information may include your first and last name, email address, website address, and any information you may post to our community forum. 
  • Newsletter Registration: If you sign-up to receive our newsletter, we will collect your email address. 
  • Other Contacts: If you contact us with questions, feedback or otherwise, we collect the information you submit, which may include your address or email address, name and any other information you provide to us. 

When you access or use our services, we automatically collect information about you, including:

  • Log Data: We collect log information about your use of our services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our services.
  • Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information. Please refer to our Cookies Policy for more details. 

Why do we process your personal data?

Frontity processes the information contributed by persons in order to provide our services and/or our products. We will also use your data to send you information regarding our products, services, updates, and/or marketing communications.

How long will we keep your data?

Personal data will be kept only as long as it is necessary for providing our service or product and for the duration as applicable by law.

What is the legitimate purpose of processing your data?

The performance of the contract, our legitimate interest in providing our services or products, or your express consent constitutes the legal grounds for the processing of your data.

Who will have access to your data?

We may share your personal data:

  • With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who process this information in connection with services they provide for us. 
  • In the event of a business transaction with us, such as in the case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, as permitted by applicable law; or 
  • At your direction or with your consent, such as content you post through the Frontity community.

What are your rights when you give us your data?

Any person is entitled to be informed whether Frontity is processing personal data concerning them or not.

Subject to limitations provided by law, any person is entitled to access their personal data (including in a portable format) and to request the rectification of inaccurate data or to request their deletion when, amongst other reasons, such data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were obtained.

In some cases, a person may request the limitation of the processing of their data. In this case data will only be kept where permitted by law.

In some cases, a person may object to the processing of their data (like receiving direct marketing or based on processing for legitimate interests).

You may exercise your rights via email at legal@frontity.com expressing your appropriate identification details and the specific right you wish to exercise.

If you gave your consent for a specific purpose you are entitled to withdraw such consent at any time.

If you feel your rights have been violated in terms of personal data protection, especially if your rights have not been fulfilled, you may make a complaint to the appropriate Data Protection Control Agency.

International transfer of data

Frontity may transfer personal data across international borders consistent with applicable data protection laws. In particular, Frontity may transfer the personal data of EU data subjects to a country outside of the EU only pursuant to adequacy decisions, subject to appropriate safeguards, or consistent with a recognized derogation. These measures include entering into European Commission approved standard contractual arrangements with entities based in countries outside the EU. You can ask us for more information about the steps we take to protect your personal information when transferring it from the EU.

Further information regarding the processing of your data

The processing of any data obtained via data compilation forms on our website or via any other means will be incorporated into the Processing Activities File for which Frontity is responsible.

Frontity handles data confidentially and implements the appropriate technical and administrative measures for the adequate management of data as set forth by EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 and applicable legislation regarding Data Protection.

Notwithstanding this, we may not guarantee the total invulnerability of our systems and therefore decline any responsibility for any damages resulting from alterations caused by third parties to our computer systems, electronic documents or user files. Should you leave our website through web links which are not part of our company, Frontity shall not be held responsible for the privacy policies operating on such.

Our policy on emails consists of sending only the messages you have asked to receive. If you do not wish to receive messages via email we will offer you the option of exercising your right to renounce receiving such messages, pursuant to Title 3, article 22 of Lay 34/2002, on Services for Electronic Commerce and Information.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the revised policy, and in some cases, we may provide additional notice (like adding a statement to our homepage or or sending you a notification through email). Your further use of the services after a change to our privacy policy will be subject to the updated policy.
