Love having Jordan's bylines in our pages. So many great lines here: "This bar offers a throbbing, louche urgency." The drinks "have a cinematic quality, flowing like luminous sea creatures, seahorse purple and anemone green."

In the early hours of Napa Valley’s 2020 Glass Fire, luxury resort Calistoga Ranch burned to the ground. Less than 24 hours later, Napa’s most famous resort also caught fire.
Yet wildfires have not slowed new development in Napa and Sonoma.

No more Fort Point Lower Haight. Since the start of the pandemic, the brewery has closed its original taproom, Mill Valley Beerworks, abandoned plans for an Oakland taproom, and now this. Founders say they want to do fewer things but do them better.
