  What kind of programming and content can I expect at Shopify Unite 2022?

  Shopify Unite is a developer-first event series and is best suited to people who are building or plan to build apps, themes, or custom storefronts on Shopify. Content and programming will be heavily focused on technical deep dives into products, coding workshops, and one-on-one technical problem-solving sessions.

• Do I need to be a Shopify Partner to attend Shopify Unite?

  Do I need to be a Shopify Partner to attend Shopify Unite?

  The content at Shopify Unite will be geared towards commerce developers, but you do not need to be a Shopify Partner to attend the events. Shopify Unite is open to developers interested in learning more about building on Shopify, as well as developers who work in-house for Shopify merchants. However, to participate in event workshops, you will need to complete certain setup steps that include having a Partner account, as well as other steps depending on the workshop topic.

• Can I attend more than one Shopify Unite event?

  Can I attend more than one Shopify Unite event?

  Space is limited at each Shopify Unite event, so each organization is limited to three tickets across all locations, and we encourage you to attend one city stop. The keynotes, workshops, and other content will be the same across all events, and will be made available online after the events conclude. You won't be missing out by attending one location.

• Can we expect Shopify Unite 2022 to be the same as the original event?

  Can we expect Shopify Unite 2022 to be the same as the original event?

  Starting in 2022, Shopify Unite is evolving to be more community-focused and geared toward developers who are local to a particular city. The content will be more focused on learning about the developer opportunity on Shopify, as well as educating developers about the recent announcements made through Editions.

• Will Shopify Unite 2022 content be live streamed or recorded and available online?

  Will Shopify Unite 2022 content be live streamed or recorded and available online?

  While the event itself will not be live streamed, recordings of the keynote presentation, Shopify talks, and Partner-led talks will be available online after the event. Workshops will be available online as self-paced learning experiences.

• Can I reassign my ticket or get a refund?

  Can I reassign my ticket or get a refund?

  Yes, you can reassign a ticket to someone else via the ticketing tool. To request a refund please email shopifyunite@shopify.com. Please note: The cut off dates for reassignment and refunds for the various event locations are as follows: London, August 24; Toronto, September 21; and Melbourne, October 5.

  For the Shopify Unite Tour we will follow and enforce all COVID-19 requirements and guidelines required by the local Government in which the event is taking place.
