2-Day PMAD: Components of Care

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Components of Care is a 2-day, thorough and evidence-based curriculum designed for nurses, physicians, social workers, mental health providers, childbirth professionals, social support providers, or anyone interested in learning skills and knowledge for assessment and treatment of perinatal mood disorders.  This a PSI Certificate of Completion Course and qualifies as Step 1 for the PMH-C.

Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training Course

PSI and 2020 Mom present a Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training for Mental Health and Clinical Professionals. This online webinar series includes eight live sessions, small group discussions and supplemental reading materials. This qualifies as Step 1 for the PMH-C.

Perinatal Loss: Clinical and Supportive Care

This comprehensive perinatal loss training for birth workers, therapists, nurses, and other psychotherapy and medical providers. This course takes you into the world of perinatal loss, inclusive of miscarriage, stillbirth, complex congenital anomalies, and pregnancy decision making.  Participants will explore trauma-informed strategies, clinical techniques, and practical interventions to support bereaved parents, families, and providers impacted by loss.

2-Hour Psychopharmacology

This 2-hour webinar covers Pharmacological Interventions in Pregnancy, Postpartum and Lactation and is designed as an intermediate level educational event in the study of perinatal mental health.

Advanced Psychopharmacology

A 6-hour advanced course on psychiatric pharmacology during pregnancy and lactation, taught by perinatal psychiatric experts.

Advanced Psychotherapy

The 6-hour Advanced Perinatal Psychotherapy certificate course must be completed in person as a pre-requisite to register for the perinatal mental health certification exam.
