The Scientific Advisory Committee of the American Lung Association makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on a range of subjects surrounding lung health;  the Lung Cancer Expert Medical Advisory Panel provides the American Lung Association with strategic advice on critical lung cancer science and lung cancer-related issues; and the Scientific and Medical Editorial Review Panel reviews our content to ensure it is consistent with the Lung Association's mission, policies and health initiatives, and that the content is current and scientifically accurate.
