The PSI Yates Children Memorial Fund
Justice and Advocacy Program
The PSI Justice and Advocacy Program was developed out of the need to provide education and awareness of the plight of mothers who were implicated by the criminal justice system or legal system.
The goals of the program are to provide support and information to families and resources for professionals involved with cases concerning perinatal mental illness in the criminal justice or legal system system including law enforcement, first responders, attorneys, maternal mental health expert witnesses, and psychiatric providers.
PSI Legal Toolkit
The PSI Toolkit for legal professionals outlines best practices and protocols in the recognition, assessment, treatment, and informed legal representation for cases related to perinatal mental illness, especially postpartum psychosis. Contact Tiffany Ross at the email below for more information and to receive the toolkit.
