Launch a site
Before launching a site on WordPress VIP
- Determine if the site you plan to launch is a single site or a multisite.
- Review and complete all preparation steps prior to the planned launch date.
The steps for launching a WordPress single site differ from the steps for launching a site on a multisite, but in most cases sites can be self-launched on VIP.
In addition, launches that require more support can be launched with the assistance of the VIP team. For example, a brand new multisite that has not yet launched the main site (ID 1), or a re-design/re-launch of an existing VIP site, may require additional assistance for launch. Customers can inquire with VIP Support or their TAM if they are not sure which approach their site is qualified for.
