The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

🤝 The Queen received Liz Truss at Balmoral Castle today.
Her Majesty asked her to form a new Administration. Ms. Truss accepted Her Majesty's offer and was appointed Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury.
🤝 Later today, The Queen will receive Liz Truss at Balmoral Castle to formalise her new position as Prime Minister.
Ms. Truss is the 15th Prime Minister to serve during Her Majesty’s reign. The first was Winston Churchill in 1952.
The Duke and Duchess then enjoyed meeting residents and community groups at the annual Gloucester Day Parade, a colourful celebration marking the lifting of the siege of Gloucester in 1643.

🚣♀️Her Royal Highness carried out the Fleet Review and Motor Past Review as the Solent filled with a gathering of Dunkirk Little Ships, Sail Training Ships and historic yachts.
⛵️The Princess Royal was on the Solent this weekend at a Platinum Jubilee celebration, following this year’s Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight.
Over 400 boats from the local sailing and yachting community came together on the water for a spectacular showcase.
