"Soon after the fall of France, Free France was but a government in exile"

This is not correct. It wasn't a Government-in-exile. If the defeated government had left the country, and claimed to continue in operation in exile, then it would have been a Goverment-in-exile. Like for example, the Dutch government. In the case of France, there was the Vichy government. Free French were rival/alternative pretended government. Government-in-exile is not the right terminology. Someone should know the correct terminology.Eregli bob (talk) 13:12, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Technical Innovations[edit]

Currently reads:

"The FNFL also harboured technical innovators, like Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who invented the modern aqua-lung, and Yves Rocard, who helped perfect radar. The aqua-lung became a major improvement for commando operations. (Note - Jacques Cousteau joined the FNFL after the liberation of France. He spent the entirety of the war in France. He developed the aqua-lung in Paris during the German occupation.)"

Any section that spends 50% of its word count qualifying that 50% of what it just said isn't strictly true is a section of dubious value.98.232.26.108 (talk) 15:43, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
