2023 INVESTMENT SUMMIT - APPLY TO HOST A SPINOFF EVENT

A SelectUSA Investment Summit Spinoff event is an FDI site selection promotional event held before or after the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit hosted by an official U.S. Economic Development Organization (EDO) at the city, state, regional or tribal level.
EDOs who would like to leverage from the convening power of the SelectUSA Investment Summit, scheduled from May 1- 4, 2023 in National Harbor, MD, must submit an application to host a SelectUSA Spinoff event.
All complete applications are due by September 15, 2022. Foreign company representatives applying for the Investment Summit make key decisions about travel arrangements and location visits at the point of application. All approved Spinoff events will be included in the SelectUSA Investment Summit registration process when it launches in Fall 2022. Late submissions will therefore not be taken into consideration.
Spinoff event dates cannot conflict with the Investment Summit dates and all local activities on location must conclude by Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Here’s your chance to speak at the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit! Topics will include plenary programming, tech pitching sessions, and Investment Academy panels on timely themes reflecting the U.S. investment environment and industry trends. SelectUSA invites members of the foreign direct investment (FDI) community to propose qualified speakers for the 2023 Investment Summit.

2022 SELECTUSA INVESTMENT SUMMIT WRAPS WITH RECORD NUMBERS
Thank you to all of our speakers, moderators, panelists, sponsors, exhibitors, and participants whose engagement has made the 2022 SelectUSA Investment Summit a resounding success! This was our LARGEST Investment Summit to date, with record levels of participation from over 3,600 attendees from 70+ international markets and 51 states and territories, all gathering to take advantage of in-person networking and informative programming on key industry topics affecting the FDI community.
- 1,400+ international companies
- President Joe Biden delivered remarks
- 6 Cabinet secretaries
- 7 governors and NEC Director Brian Deese as 2022 speakers
- Interagency participation: 22 bureaus and agencies actively participated by hosting investment academy sessions and exhibiting.
- More than 50 speakers from the interagency led sessions.
- The Investment Summit program is comprised of over 100 sessions featuring more than 300 speakers – another record high for an in-person Investment Summit.
- SelectUSA Tech:
- With over 400 participants, representation from global startups in the SelectUSA Tech program has surpassed 2021 numbers.
- The Investment Summit will see the launch of the second cohort of the Select Global Women in Tech Mentorship Network, which has grown from 81 participants in 2021 to over 140 approved participants in 2022 (growth of over 70%).
- The Investment Summit will host 11 pitching sessions (7 industry and 4 regional). Over 200 SelectUSA Tech participants applied to pitch and 80 were selected, with an additional 26 companies who won a spot from in-market sessions to pitch in the regional sessions (106 companies; 44 markets)
- There are a total of 93 exhibitors in the Exhibition Hall and 71 of those are EDO exhibitors. Additionally, we have over 300 SelectUSA Tech companies exhibiting at the Investment Summit.
