The Academic Personnel Office (APO) supports the academic life cycle of academic staff at McGill University. The APO is a resource for academic administrators, academic affairs staff, and tenure-stream and Contract Academic Staff members.
Working with the Associate Provost (Equity and Academic Policies), the APO advises on academic employment policy, and administers academic personnel files from recruitment to retirement, including but not limited to immigration and conditions of employment, administrative appointments, research chair and internal awards, and leaves.
