We wanted to do a public announcement that our users shouldn't worry about jsDelivr having issues. The current global outage of Cloudflare did not impact our users since we immediately replaced them with Fastly while they're working on a fix.

We understand how difficult it was for our users to experience this unique situation. From now on all Chinese traffic will be served by "near China" locations provided by global CDN providers. This will have the additional benefit of better failover logic in the future.

Unfortunately today jsDelivr unexpectedly lost its ICP license in China. As effect the regional CDN disabled our account. This resulted in the extended outage we had in mainland China and Taiwan. Other regions were unaffected.

We're launching our new official status page status.jsdelivr.com - It uses data from our existing monitoring tools - We made it detailed with stats per component - It's using a different DNS provider and no CDN. So it's completely independent from our main infrastructure
