We are pleased to report results from the first randomized controlled trial examining the efficacy of the Comprehensive Behavioral Model of treatment (ComB; Mansueto, Sternberger, Thomas, & Golomb, 1999) for trichotillomania. This study ran from January 2018 through April 2020 and was a collaboration among American University, the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington, and the University of Chicago.
