a pair of hookah lounges in Burnaby said they felt harassed by the city's bylaw department in the summer of 2020. i went through close to 600 bylaw visits over the course of six weeks, and the data appears to validate their complaints. burnabybeacon.com/article/smoked

important to note that people are going to need drugs after the mass trauma event when they have undiagnosed long covid and no family doctor in a collapsed healthcare system and they will access the unregulated market if that's all there is. #bcpoli

I don’t often do threads, but I’ve been looking at the Independent Investigations Office of BC’s cases over the last little while, and have a few stats to share. I want to be clear from the top that this is only the data *as reported* by the IIO, which get their info from police
