ADAA's directory helps practitioners grow their practice and market their services. Our website receives 11 million+ unique visitors annually.
ADAA membership requires payment of annual dues. ADAA’s membership runs January 1 – December 31. If you join after January, your annual dues will be prorated. Email us at membership@adaa.org with questions.
All member types allow for auto-renew. If you select auto-renew you will receive an email notifying you of renewal charges approximately one week prior to being processed.
Professional Membership: $249/year
Eligibility Requirements
- Licensed to provide clinical services or you conduct mental health research.
- Completed graduate training in your respective disciplines and (a) be licensed or hold an equivalent certification or (b) conduct research on anxiety and related disorders.
- Submit your licensure number and sign that you have no ethical violations according to your state and professional code of conduct and that you maintain state licensing requirement.
- Being listed on Find-A-Therapist is included in the membership fee and is optional. You may choose to be listed during the registration process.

Trainee/Postdoctoral Fellow/Resident: $115/year
Eligibility Requirements
- Actively involved in postgraduate research or clinical training in any discipline relevant to ADAA’s mission.
- Submit by email to membership@adaa.org, a letter from your institution or supervisor verifying your status as a fellow, resident, research associate, licensure trainee, or intern. Clinical trainees are not licensed or certified to practice.
- Trainee/postdoctoral fellow/resident members are not eligible for listing in Find a Therapist and may not hold open positions on the Board of Directors.
