Who teaches the courses?

BabyCenter is dedicated to providing research-based content. The courses are led by experts in their field. You can learn more about the hosts in the "Meet your experts" section here or within each course description.

How long are the videos in each course?

Our courses are designed with the busy parent in mind! Each course is made up of individual videos that range from 2 to 15 minutes, with most of them being 2 to 7 minutes. Can't finish a video? No problem — resume learning exactly where you left off, even mid-video. You can resume play on any device, including mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop. The courses are designed to be completed at a pace that works best for you.

What's the format of the course content?

Each course is broken up into easy-to-follow sections made up of videos, optional quizzes to test your knowledge, and handy PDF guides.

Can I download the videos?

No. Course videos are available by streaming only.

Can I watch the lessons on my phone or tablet?

Yes. You can watch the lessons on your phone or tablet by opening up your preferred web browser and going to courses.babycenter.com.

Can I rewatch lessons after I've already completed them?

Yes. Open up your preferred web browser and go to courses.babycenter.com to view your courses and rewatch lessons.

What is included apart from the video lessons?

Our comprehensive courses include optional quizzes, PDF resources, and access to a private community group where you can ask BabyCenter editors questions and see what other parents are saying. We also offer a completion certificate after you finish each course.

Do I have to take the quizzes in each course?

No. The quizzes are not a requirement, but are available as an additional learning tool to help identify areas that may need additional review.

How long can I access the course content?

Course content will be available for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Will I be able to access any of the materials after 12 months?

Course videos are available to watch and accompanying PDFs can be downloaded for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any PDFs that you download from the course during the access period will be yours to keep indefinitely; just make sure to save them in a place where you can find them again.

Do you have any free resources that can help me with these topics?

Yes. We offer free resources if you are not ready to make a purchase. Please visit our BabyCenter website for articles and expert advice about pregnancy, babies, toddler, preschoolers, and big kids. Explore information related to health and safety, sleep, and developmental milestones.

I have a question that wasn't covered in the course. How can I get the answer?

Check in on our private community groups. There, you will be able to ask questions, see other parent questions, and get answers from BabyCenter Editors.

Our pricing is intentionally set to make it affordable for as many families as possible. While we do offer occasional promotions and discounts, the best pricing we offer is through our Baby essentials bundle.

Are closed captions available for the courses?

Are these courses available outside of the United States?

Yes, you can purchase and access the courses outside of the United States. Please be aware that some products, recommendations, and medication dosing may differ based on standard practice in your country of residence. You can view your BabyCenter Courses here after purchase.

Can I use a non-U.S. credit or debit card to purchase the courses?

Yes, you are able to purchase courses internationally. Please access your course at courses.babycenter.com after purchase.

These notifications are triggered when Apple iOS finds passwords that have been included in a known data leak. Why do you need my first and last name?

This information is required for payment processing and also allows us to provide a personalized touch to your BabyCenter Courses experience.

How can I manage my billing and credit card information?

Click on your name or picture in the top right of the BabyCenter Courses website and select My Account and then select the Billing tab. From here, you can update your billing and credit card information.

How do I access billing details or update a saved credit card?

What payment methods can I use?

Most major credit cards and debit cards are accepted. You may be charged with indirect taxes (such as sales tax) depending on your residency, location, and any applicable law, in addition to the Course price shown on the Course page.

Can I use Apple Pay to buy the BabyCenter Courses?

Not at this time. Currently, most major credit and debit cards are accepted.

When will my payment be processed?

When you fill your Credit Card and Click the PURCHASE button, the whole payment will be processed at once.

How will the transaction show up on my credit card statement?

Purchases made from BabyCenter Courses will appear on your banking statement as BabyCenter Courses.

How can I purchase a course?

BabyCenter Courses can be purchased at courses.babycenter.com. Courses are not available for purchase via BabyCenter mobile app at this time.

I can't purchase a course / my card is declined, what should I do?

Please ensure you are entering your credit card information correctly. You can also try a different card. If you are still unable to make the purchase, please reach out to us at courses@babycenter.com for assistance.

How do I get a refund?

Generally, we cannot offer refunds due to the nature of the product and the instant download feature. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact courses@babycenter.com.

Will my health insurance cover the cost of BabyCenter Courses?

We cannot guarantee that your health insurance will cover a particular course and recommend that you reach out to your insurance company directly.

I already bought one course. Can I still get bundle pricing?

No, bundle pricing is only available at time of purchase.

I forgot to use a coupon code when I purchased my course. What can I do?

At what point do I switch from infant CPR to pediatric CPR? What about infant Heimlich maneuver to pediatric Heimlich maneuver?

Infant CPR is appropriate for infants less than 1 year of age. Pediatric CPR can be used for children age 1 and older.

My pediatrician said I could use a different dose of medication than this course indicates. What should I do?

Does the CPR course provide certification?

This course focuses on CPR and first aid basics for parents and caregivers. While the CPR course offers a certificate of completion, it does not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification.

The BabyCenter 3-stage sleep solution course

Is sleep training safe for my child?

You should always get your pediatrician's approval before starting any sleep training program, but sleep training is generally safe for infants who are at least 6 months old.

Will the plans and strategies in this course still work if I adapt them a bit?

Yes. The sleep training method that will work is the one you can stick with. Adapt the strategies to work for your family.

How can I tell if my baby is the right age for the strategies in this course?

Our sleep course is designed to help you from night one! You'll learn how to handle your newborn's schedule, how to manage sleep at 3 to 5 months, tackle the sleep regression at 4 months, and set them up for success from 6 months and beyond.

Meeting physical milestones through play course

My baby is past the tummy time stage. Will this course still help me?

Yes. This course is designed to support you from tummy time through rolling over, sitting up, cruising, and walking.

How can I buy the products recommended in this course?

If our videos recommend specific products, they will be noted under the video player.

How can I seek out the right professional if I think my child may have a delay?

Children develop at different rates, but most follow a general timeline. If your child doesn't seem to be meeting milestones within several weeks of the average, please talk to your pediatrician. If there are concerns, your pediatrician should be able to refer you to a pediatric occupational physical therapist or other specialist.
