You can give to GiveWell to support our recommended charities, the Maximum Impact Fund, or our operating expenses through the PayPal buttons below. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still donate through PayPal using a credit or debit card.
Use the buttons below to choose a specific designation for your donation. Donations sent to our PayPal account without using one of the buttons below will be treated as unrestricted and used to either support GiveWell’s operating expenses (most likely) or granted out to charities at our discretion.
Please note that donations to GiveWell are irrevocable in most cases and donor requests to grant donations to our recommended charities are subject to our approval (more details on GiveWell's approval process here).
GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) is a federally-recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization in the US and a registered charity in the Netherlands with tax-deductible status (a Public Benefit Organization). US and Dutch donors are able to take tax deductions for donations to GiveWell to the extent permitted by local tax laws. Please note: GiveWell itself does not charge any fees when taking donations for the support of our recommended charities, but PayPal charges standard credit card processing fees.
