  • We have some news about the new notifications’ system at translate.wordpress.org. All users will be opt-out by default, and they should opt in to receive notifications, at https://translate.wordpress.org/settings/ We’re concerned about due to the opt-in, many people will initially miss those conversations are going on because they won’t get notified. We’re thinking about how to make people aware of the opt-in possibility and how they’d benefit from it:
    • A banner on the top explaining that you can opt-in. That banner can be closed and won’t show again.
    • A one-time full-screen opt-in screen that can be closed and will never appear again.
    • Allow opting in with a checkbox when submitting a translation.

Bulk feedback

As reviewer (GTE, PTE or CLPTE), you can reject multiple translations with the same feedback. To do this:

1. Select the elements to reject.
2. Select the reject reason.
3. Click on the “Apply” button.

Then, you will see a lightbox where you can:

1. Select one or more reasons.
2. Make a comment.

The first stringString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. will have the reasons and the comment.

The other stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. will have a link to the first discussion, so all the discussion will take place in this first string.
