IPA Uganda has an established local body of evidence in the health, governance, and financial inclusion sectors.

For example, a prominent study in post-war Northern Uganda showed that giving the most vulnerable women access to cash grants and basic business skills training can translate into increased cash earning and savings. IPA Uganda is now increasing its focus on developing strong partnerships with local NGOs and government agencies, including a partnership with the Ugandan government's budget transparency website which will publicize local budget expenditures.
