IPA has been conducting research in the Dominican Republic since 2006. Our work has largely focused on building evidence in the sectors of Financial Inclusion and Small and Medium Enterprises, particularly with a focus on leveraging conditional cash transfers.

We have completed four research projects in the country, and have six active projects. These studies include evaluating the impact of commitment savings accounts among beneficiaries of ProSoli, a conditional cash transfer program, and investigating whether a financial literacy training can improve the financial status of ProSoli recipients.
