Yes… but it seems essentially impossible to measure the impact of a marginal dollar sent to Ukraine’s military. We need some philosophical basis for actions whose impact we expect to never be measurable

Or course it’s possible. I’d argue the pie is even bigger than just supply chain but geopolitical stability and support for western liberal values. Present value of this is probably tens or hundreds of trillions. Key is the degree to which the aid affects the odds.

The country = US? I think could also factor in benefits to US of attrition against Russian military. Less likely to need to spend on defence in future.
