California Volunteers

California Volunteers is the state office tasked with engaging Californians in service, volunteering and civic action to tackle our State’s most pressing challenges while mobilizing all Californians to volunteer and serve in their communities. The #CaliforniansForAll service initiative was launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to build on the efforts of California Volunteers to establish a statewide volunteer corps to help with the state’s response to emergencies and disasters. California Volunteers also administers the AmeriCorps programs in California with over 80 programs providing critical services to more than 160,000 Californians annually.

Volunteer Hours for Book Reviews

Calling all teens, ages 13-18, the Palo Alto City Library is offering volunteer hours for book reviews! Have you recently read a book you couldn't put down? Is there a book you read months ago, but you can’t stop thinking about it? How about a book that you felt could have been better, and you have been wanting to get those thoughts off of your chest? Write it up in a book review.

HandsOn Tomorrow

HandsOn Tomorrow is a 2-week summer leadership and volunteering program for Bay Area high school students. Participants are given tools to become better community leaders while generating valuable volunteer hours for college and beyond! 

This non-profit organization connects companies and people with high-quality volunteer projects through its network of local nonprofits and schools in need. It offers hundreds of volunteer projects each month to anyone who wants to help.

West Valley Community Services

WVCS is coordinating response with partner organizations, city governments, educational institutions and colleges to make sure that college students, seniors, individuals, families, and children do not go without food.

Teens In Health

Are you a high schooler that is passionate about helping those in need and is interested in health? Teens In Health is expanding their outreach in order for other high school students from the Bay Area to contribute in our goal.
