Resource war

Resource war is a type of war caused by conflict over resources. Oil wars and water conflicts are some common types of conflicts that could lead to resource war.

Some have suggested that war over commercial commodities or goods that are not key to human survival or society function, should not be considered as a form of resource war.[1]
