    I want to be a yearly celebration of the web. The framework is just the glue; the common language and tooling we use to build incredible user experiences. But it isn’t the focus. The web is and will always be bigger than . We should focus on that! ❤️

    It was an honor to hear from Ryan Dahl at today. His vision for is truly inspiring. We talked a bunch after his talk about scaling up, but also scaling down, even to a single file. I love this concept. Scaling both ways is definitely a goal we share! 🤝

    One of the most exhilarating things I’ve seen at a conference is all the speakers—independently—showing something amazing, and then saying “oh, and now watch this” and they disable javascript and demo everything still working

    I also kind of love how “what happens when I turn off JS?” is a kind of running theme through the talks. It’s a cool trick, but it’s really all about *progressive enhancement*! 👍

    An enormous amount of empathy for users is on display at today, which just fills my heart ❤️ Every talk is focused on making better user experiences. Performance, accessibility, good error handling, etc. It’s so good. 👌
