    Congratulations, WCU Grads!

    Congratulations to West Chester University's more than 3,300* WCU graduates! Each graduating students and their guests attended one of 14 separate commencement ceremonies held on main campus between Friday, May 13, and Sunday, May 15. Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall in Philips Memorial Building and Hollinger Field House were each home to seven ceremonies, including two for graduate-level candidates on Saturday, May 14.

    Philadelphia Campus Commencements to Take Place on June 6

    In the interest of keeping graduates and their guests safe, the University heeded meteorologists' warnings for severe weather and potential flooding on Monday, May 16, and postposed the two commencement ceremonies planned for the graduates of WCU's Philadelphia campus. Those services are rescheduled to Monday, June 6.

    Graduating WCU Seniors Among Winners in European Union's National Foreign Affairs Contest

    This spring, a team of four West Chester University students placed first in a national debating competition hosted by the Delegation of the European Union to the United States in Washington, D.C. More than 20 colleges participated in the prestigious contest, the 2022 Annual European Union Schuman Challenge, including students from Yale University, Georgetown University, and American University.

    WCU Students Meet Gov. Wolf during Legislative Fellow Visit in Harrisburg

    A group of West Chester University students recently met Gov. Tom Wolf during a visit to Pennsylvania's capitol building in Harrisburg. The 15 students were in WCU Professor John Kennedy's upper-level class, Pennsylvania Government and Politics, which featured appearances by WCU's Department of Political Science's Legislative Fellow, State Rep. Dianne Herrin (D-Chester County).
