P. Nicole Taylor MD
Dr. Phyliss Nicole Taylor is a psychiatrist with a specialization in Perinatal Mental Health. She is currently employed at the North Florida South Georgia VA Health Systems Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She is affiliated with the University of Florida – Jacksonville and provides clinical supervision for psychiatry residents. She is board certified in general psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Taylor received her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International in September 2018. She received her BS in Psychology from Duke University in Durham, NC and her MD from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She completed her psychiatry residency training at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. Dr. Taylor is passionate about erasing the stigma of mental illness through community education and mental health advocacy. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Florida Psychiatric Association, and Postpartum Support International. She is a devoted wife, mother of two amazing children, and active in her community and church.
