    My wife coped while I fall a part, I did it silently at first, I attempted to take my life twice. saved my life in 2016 she included Dads, then I finally managed to speak out. I was a good Dad Loved my wife. Family man.. But what I saw crippled my mind

    The BMJ has reported on a case of male postpartum psychosis. The fact that men can experience this severe form of PND makes it even more clear why we MUST diagnose & support these dads. This is a real phenomenon, time to take it seriously.

    This is such crucial work. If we intervene early and support parents and their children as they grow we can significantly increase the chance of a positive and healthy future.

    Our new 'core story' about babies' brain development was developed with input from a huge range of people from across the sector. We hope it will become a shared narrative that we can all use to campaign for action in the first 1001 days. Download it here

    We always say boys need their dads to be role models but it is increasingly clear how important a role model & influence they are to their daughters.

    Great article on about the relationship between teen daughters and their "I asked 1,300 girls how they bond with their fathers. Three things kept coming up"

    Those early weeks are so critical for building the bond that is critical to you, your baby and your family, made even harder when your interaction with your baby is sometimes difficult. The very least we can do is support parents and their babies by giving them more time.
