    Tomorrow is primary day in Pennsylvania, and according to polls, it looks like vote-splitting in both the Republican and Democratic races is all but guaranteed. We'll be watching closely and will update our vote-splitting tracker after the results are in:

    Alaska has a huge, 48-person primary coming up in June. Among the candidates are Santa Claus and Sarah Palin. Expect to see lots of vote-splitting in this 48-candidate primary! It could all be solved simply with approval voting.

    Nebraska held their primaries last night, and boy did we see some vote-splitting. In the Republican primary for Governor, the winner emerged with just 34% of the vote. With approval voting, there would be a much clearer picture of what the voters actually wanted.

    Choose-one voting results in vote-splitting -- similar candidates split their supporter base. It can sometimes lead to a candidate with less overall support winning. With approval voting, vote-splitting can be a thing of the past. ✅ Learn more >>
