#IASPGOLDCOAST2022 – Day 2
After attending Tuesday’s pre-conference workshops, I was excited to attend day two of the official conference program. As someone identifying as a member of a priority population, I made a beeline for Keynote 3.
Resources from the congress, including the abstract book, podcasts, blog posts and news items are still accessible to all. Recordings of the full programme are available to all delegates.
The Early Career Group (ECG) provides a forum where group members can network with peers and experts alike, engaging in international research and interventions in the area of suicide prevention.
IASP’s COVID-19 Resource Centre aims to provide information for those seeking resources related to the pandemic and suicidal behaviour, suicidal ideation and self-harm.

The first thing I noticed at the venue was lots of laughter and excited hugs at seeing friends in person again. I often overheard, “It’s great to finally meet in person” or “you are taller than you are on zoom!”
