React 18 is almost ready to ship. The React 18 Working Group community feedback has led to many improvements over the last year. We don’t expect big changes now but we’d like to ask for one final round of broad public community feedback before the release.

We've added a new flag that leverages Output File Tracing create a standalone directory that you can use to run your Next.js app when self-hosting, initial tests show this reduces docker image size by 80%. 👏
