    As promised, the ALT badge and exposed image descriptions go global today. Over the past month, we fixed bugs and gathered feedback from the limited release group. We're ready. You're ready. Let's describe our images! Here's how:

    When you want to keep up with Tweets but don’t want to be overwhelmed with notification after notification after notification after... On Android, "Tweets from people you follow" push alerts will now be silent by default. You can turn the alert sounds on in your device settings.

    We know video uploads have been slow for some of you on Android. To fix that, we’ve improved how we process some of them. Now it should be faster to share videos (720p or lower) on Android 9+ –– less waiting, more Tweeting while we work on the same for higher quality videos.

    We heard you –– some of you always want to see latest Tweets first. We've switched the timeline back and removed the tabbed experience for now while we explore other options.

    Lists are one of the best ways to follow trusted accounts and news sources on Twitter. By pinning lists, you can pick which ones you want to quickly access from your Home timeline. To pin a list, tap "Lists" from the sidebar menu, then tap the thumbtack icon by a list.
