Join the team on the ground floor of our small but mighty non-profit social change organization. 2020 Mom has a track record of effectuating systems and policy change and a culture that is flexible, fast-paced, and family-oriented.

Our team is all work from home. Hours are flexible and may fluctuate daily based on your schedule, outside of standing hour-long weekly team meetings. However, some projects require working nights and weekends. Ideal candidates would reside in CA, OR, WA, or AZ where our current employees reside. However, the state of residence shouldn’t prevent a qualified applicant from applying.

Development Director

  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of our organization's mission, strengths, and funding needs.

  • Along with the Executive Director, builds and maintains relationships with Foundations, Philanthropists and Sponsors to understand their funding goals and areas of alignment with 2020 Mom.

  • Identifies and builds relationships with current and prospective individual donors.

  • Responsible for ongoing identification of funding opportunities aligned with 2020 Mom's mission and project interests.

  • Analyzes donor data and fundraising campaigns to identify opportunities for increased impact.

  • Works with the board and staff to refine fundraising strategies and programs.

  • Works closely with the Ambassador program lead to listen to and elevate Ambassadors as fundraising leaders.

15-20 hours per week (together we will set an average expected number of work hours).
$40-$50/hour, commensurate with experience.
Medical, dental, vision benefits available if working 20 or more hours per week.

Communications Manager

  • Develops with staff, overall communication & social media calendar for enews and social media based on core projects.

  • Ensures brand voice is maintained throughout communication projects.

  • Oversees staff responsible for website design, layout, and functionality.

  • Manages staff (3) responsible for social media, awareness campaigns, enews distribution, storytelling, graphics, and website.

  • Works with the Executive Director to write 2020 Mom enews.

  • Ensures communication metrics are collected and reviewed for purposes of continuous quality improvement.

  • Reports to the Executive Director.

  • Prior work in the fields of healthcare and/or in a non-profit setting preferred.

  • 3 or more years of experience the communication field preferred.

  • 3 or more years of experience as a manager preferred.

$35-$50/hr commensurate with experience.
15-25 hours a week (together we will set an average expected number of work hours).
Medical, dental, vision benefits available if working an average of 20 hours or more per week.
401k available regardless of the number of hours worked.
