JUST NOW: All #Jan6thCommittee members voted “aye” in favor of contempt charges for Trump aides Dan Scavino & Peter Navarro. For those who care about bipartisanship, both Republican members voted “aye.”

American Song Contest (NBC), American Idol (ABC), The Neighborhood (CBS) and Ukraine coverage (CNN) are apparently deemed more important at this moment. And this is a critical part of why mobilizing mass outrage at the threat against our democracy is so difficult.

Please, not this trap. Racists purport to find “ammunition” in our highest accomplishments and in our stumbles. The sterling career, poise, and temperament of Judge #KetanjiBrownJackson apparently gave “ammunition to the racists.” So this is just not on point.

What?! @ChuckGrassley taking issue w/mentioning fact Judge Jackson was confirmed to Sentencing Commission by voice vote (meaning no objection). Says this was for non-judicial post & not for SCOTUS. Give me a break. She was Senate-confirmed 3X & that’s her record before this body.
