    Malaria is tricky. It’s a disease that holds on in rural and hard to reach places. Reaching the required level of coverage with malaria control interventions is operationally difficult and further innovations in tools and approaches are needed.

    The deployment of an effective, long-lasting & safe malaria vaccine together with effective vector control tools will substantially improve capacity to eliminate the disease. Innovations to enhance the delivery and uptake of such a vaccine must also be addressed.
