Fleet Services Manager

As the The Fleet Services Manager, you will be responsible for the Corporate Fleet including, procurement, maintenance, asset preservation and disposal through best practices and sustainable practices. You will be responsible for hired equipment throughout the corporation and you will oversee third party equipment contracts for civic operations. You will also ensure corporate adherence to the National Safety Code Carrier Safety Plan, the Operator Certification Training Program and the Transport Canada and Motor Vehicle Act Regulations as well as the annual testing for fire engines as per NFPA.
You have exceptional leadership, communications and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of staff. You are an innovator and have a technical and diverse knowledge of fleet, fleet management, business management, capital and operating budgets, planning, project management, vendor negotiations, emergency preparedness, health & safety regulations, Carrier National Safety Code Regulations and Motor Vehicle Act Regulations. You are a journeymen mechanic with several years’ experience, you have a business diploma, or you are a seasoned business professional preferably with a business degree in a related field.
