Open access
Open access publishing makes your online scholarly work available, free of charge to anyone. It facilitates the discovery and sharing of knowledge and may be required by your research funder.
From April 2016 the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) requires that, for journal articles and conference papers to be eligible for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021, they are deposited in a repository. You are advised to upload your work on acceptance to Symplectic, for deposit in Spiral, Imperial's institutional repository.
Funding is available to make the published version of your work immediately available from the publisher’s website.
