My daughter is 6 years old and has non-verbal autism. We were introduced to this AMAZING organization by a friend of mine when we were on the hunt for summer care for my daughter which is no easy task. After attending the summer camp for two years I can tell you this place is a blessing! My daughter absolutely loves going to summer camp here! Each summer week has a theme and they keep the children learning and having fun all day long. My daughter gets to be involved in all the activities and the staff could not be more caring or knowledgeable. Over the last few weeks my daughter has also been able to participate in social group therapy and I could not be happier with her progress thus far.

We cannot wait for them to begin enrolling for summer camp again and I am hoping we can get my son in as well!

- An extremely grateful parent

Autism ETC has been life changing for our family and our son over the last year! They are so personal and value your input as a parent when making the perfect care plan for your child. My sons functional communication and social skills have dramatically improved at their center. They also use a variety of methods for teaching which has helped my son with learning so much where it used to be hard for him to retain before. I would recommend Autism ETC for anyone looking for ABA services!

The progress that my son has made while attending AETC summer camps and ABA therapy here has been unbelievable. The staff and therapists are all incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I try not to ever miss a parent training workshop offered by AETC because I learn so much from the parent chosen topics.
I couldn't imagine our lives without AETC.

Autism Etc has been an absolute God-send to our family. Our boys have been receiving services going on 10 years from Autism Etc. We have two teenage boys with Autism. The support has been amazing! We are so thankful for Autism Etc. We have been helped with food therapy, collaboration with school, potty training, behavior modification and so much more. Our family has benefited from scholarships for summer camp. Our boys no longer tantrum and transition really well all things considered. Social skills groups have helped tremendously. Our boys have made so much progress and continue to do so and we are eternally grateful. We thank God for Autism Etc.

We have two boys on the Autism Spectrum. We began services with the Autism Foundation of Tennessee DBA Autism Education & Therapy Center when the boys were in Preschool and Kindergarten. We have had the best experience ever with the staff and services. Our children are thriving. When we began services, we were just surviving. Our caring BCBA Casey Bateman Chauvin saw the potential that I had as a parent and the work that we had done as a family and suggested that I take a class. I took her advice and joined a DBT therapy skills group. When I started I could barely concentrate. Now I am an Adult Degree Student at Belmont University studying to be a social work advocate for special needs families. I have made straight As. My children are so well adjusted and we get compliments all the time how well behaved that they are considering their disabilities. We have received social skills services, ABA therapy, turoring , special summer programming, and so much more. Our boys and I were led threw Food therapy training and they eat a variety of foods now. Our boys potty trained at ages 7 and 9. Oh, happy day! The Autism ETC team has been there for us the entire way. in 2010, we had 4 1/2 feet of in our home by way of a flood. The transition from being displaced and finding a new home and a new school system couldn't have gone any better. We have received free services when grant monies have come available. I just can't say enough about our experience with Autism ETC. We are so very grateful. Our family would not be where it is today without Dustin Ellis, our Behavior Specialist for 8 years+. Karen and Steve Blake put their heart and soul into founding this organization and it shows. It would be an honor to work for them someday. I hope to be involved in grant-writing to help not for profits like this reach more families. And Bethany Holton, the BCBA that went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate our family's growing needs. She inspired me to keep trying when we were so new at this Autism life. She connected with me on a personal level and is a friend to this day even though she moved on to another place of employment. Forever grateful...

When my son with ASD started therapy here he only had 3 words. Now, he uses upwards of 20 and his social skills have increased tremendously. We love it at AETC.
