Financial Aid/EOPS/Veterans Services Office Hours
Students who are enrolled at Napa Valley College during the COVID-19 national emergency may apply for Emergency Financial Assistance now! Students who owe money to Napa Valley College may also qualify to have their debt paid with Emergency Financial Assistance funds. Click here for more information!
In-Person Services
Monday - Thursday | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Front Counter Quick Questions (10 minutes or less)
- Students must show a BLUE or GREEN Cleared4 Pass at the time of service
- Non-Students must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the past 7 days
- Everyone must wear a MASK in the Financial Aid/EOPS/Veterans Services Office
- Everyone must show a picture ID to verify Identity if asking for personal or confidential information.
REGISTER FOR IN-PERSON DROP-INS at the Kiosk in the Financial Aid/EOPS/Veterans Service Office Lobby. Drop-ins are first-come-first-served. Students who consent to text messaging will receive a text message when they are next-in-line for service, so there is no need to wait in line. A monitor in the Office lobby will show the students (usings the last 4 digits of the students phone number as an identifer) registered for in-person services.
Use Virtual Services (see below) if you have questions that require more time or an individualized and/or confidential conversation, such as assistance in completing the FAFSA/CADAA, help understanding your award letter, information about your eligibility, help with requests for special circumstances, etc.
Virtual Services
Beginning August 10, 2020, the Financial Aid/EOPS/Veterans Services Office is available to assist you using Cranium Cafe virtual services. FINANCIAL AID STAFF ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR IN-PERSON ASSISTANCE. Chat with a staff member in real-time in our Financial Aid Virtual Front Counter Lobby or make an appointment to meet with a Financial Aid Specialist or Financial Aid Technician online in a video or phone meeting. The Financial Aid/EOPS Office offers a variety of aid programs, including grants, loans, scholarships, and work study opportunities for students who are having a difficult time meeting the cost of attending Napa Valley College. Any student who is having financial difficulties is urged to apply for financial assistance by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the California Dream Act Application for AB540 eligible Dreamers. Our friendly staff are here to assist you with the application process and to help you understand the types of assistance that may be available to you. Don't disqualify yourself!
