Visit our South Kensignton campus through a school group visit for prospective students

It's a great opportunity to hear first-hand about what is on offer at Imperial, as well as ask some of our current students about studying at Imperial on a campus tour.

We will be restarting campus visits for schools from 20 April 2022.

To make an enquiry or request a visit by contacting visit@imperial.ac.uk.

About our campus visits for school groups

We offer different types of visits depending on the age group of the students.

About our campus tours

16–18 year olds

For students aged 16–18 (Years 11–13 in UK schools), we offer a two-hour visit which usually includes: a campus tour with current students, a tour of subject specific facilities (subject to availability) and a presentation by a member of the Student Recruitment team.

13–15 year olds

For students aged 13–15 (Years 9 and 10 in UK schools), we can arrange a current student-led campus tour. This lasts approximately one hour and covers key locations on our South Kensington Campus in west London.

12 years and under

Due to the level of demand for school visits, we're currently unable to offer visits for pupils under 12 years old (Year 8 and below in UK schools). However, you may be interested in the range of activities run by our Outreach team.

Further information

Imperial College London is a specialist university, focusing on science, engineering and medicine at undergraduate level.

Due to the number of requests for visits we receive each year, we are only able to offer visits to schools, colleges and universities with students interested in these subject areas – see the full list of undergraduate courses that we offer.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer tours or presentations for independent tour groups or agencies.

For international schools, please note that these visits will be conducted in English and we are not able to provide translators.

To make the most of the visit, students should have a high level of proficiency in English due to the higher education and technical terminology used during the presentation and tour.
