Track your application in UCAS Hub

Once you've sent your completed application to UCAS, you can sign into UCAS Hub at any time to see how it's progressing.

  • Imperial departments that use interviews as part of their selection process will contact you directly if they want to invite you for interview. 
  • You will only receive a decision on your application after the interview has taken place.
  • You will receive an email from UCAS whenever there is an update on your application status so it’s really important you keep your contact details up-to-date to make sure you don’t miss any notifications.

Admission to the College is very competitive and we receive a large number of applications each year.

To make sure all applicants receive equal consideration, it is often not possible to make a final decision until after we have received all applications. For 2022 entry, the deadline for applications is 26 January 2022, so you may not receive a response before this date. See other key dates.

Once you’ve received decisions from all your chosen universities, you can accept a maximum of two offers – one will be your firm choice and the other your insurance choice.

Deferrals

If your circumstances change, and you would like to defer your offer to the following academic year, contact the Admissions team as soon as possible. We hope to be able to accommodate most requests, but it may not always be possible.

Your fee status determines whether you pay the 'home' or 'overseas' rate of tuition. We assess this after you apply using regulations provided by the UK government.

Getting your CAS number

If you require a student visa to study in the UK, you will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) from us to enter on your visa application.
