Finding True North for those who care for the nation's women, infants, children, youth, and families. Recognizing that high-quality maternal and child health (MCH) services are vital to the health of the nation, NCEMCH was established in 1982 at Georgetown University as a national resource to the MCH community. NCEMCH's multidisciplinary staff collaborates with a broad range of federal agencies, corporate and philanthropic partners, professional organizations, and academic institutions. Read more.

NCEMCH has received a 5-year cooperative agreement to translate the evidence base of successful programs and practices into actionable resources for states to advance their National Performance Measure topic areas. NCEMCH has conducted an analysis of users’ experience with delivery and dissemination systems for public health training on behalf of the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Training (NCCPHT) to further the goal of connecting public health practitioners with the training, tools, and resources needed to advance public health practice.
