    EPA is inviting 39 projects nationwide to apply for $6.7 billion in loans. These low-cost loans will help finance over $15 billion in water infrastructure projects that protect public health and water quality, create jobs and save ratepayers money.

    In Houston, the Administrator had a conversation on environmental justice with students at , and also joined communities in the Fifth Ward to discuss the impacts of pollution in their neighborhood.

    In New Orleans, the Administrator listened to the concerns of residents in Gordon Plaza – a neighborhood built on top of a toxic landfill. He also visited the Lower Ninth Ward to highlight the environmental education work being done in the community.
