Ani M. Esenyan

Ani assists clients in a variety of energy and environmental law matters. Her experience includes the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, CERCLA and related insurance issues, regulatory investigations, pipeline safety regulations, cyber security regulations, and renewable energy regulations including offshore wind and biofuels.

While attending law school, Ani was a Comments Editor for the Penn State Law Review. Her comment on the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s implementation of the National Flood Insurance Program as it relates to compliance with the Endangered Species Act was published in 2019, and was awarded Best Casenote for Penn State Law Review’s write-on competition in 2017. Ani was also a Research Assistant for Vice Admiral (Ret.) James W. Houck, Director of Penn State’s Center for Security Research and Education. In this role, Ani researched the Department of Homeland Security’s Critical Infrastructure Sectors.
