Our mission is to improve the health of children, families, and seniors by providing access to care through health insurance enrollment, patient education, and advocacy.

Community Health Initiative (CHI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to achieving 100% healthcare coverage. Since its foundation in 2005, we have addressed systemic challenges with access to healthcare, locally and statewide. Collaborations with partner agencies, including businesses have allowed us to bridge health insurance gaps in our communities. We have skilled and licensed bilingual and bi-cultural staff who mirror the community's needs and initiate their access to the services.

Our vision is every person will have healthcare and access to all the services needed to support healthy living in the community.

CHI reaches out to families in communities who need information and assistance in enrolling in affordable health insurance plans. Just as importantly, our team follows up with families to ensure they are using their coverage and staying enrolled.
