We've also launched initiatives, such as the Provost's Visiting Professor Programme, to increase the number of staff at Imperial from Black heritage and other underrepresented backgrounds. We know there’s so much more for us to do, and we’re committed to keep pushing forward.

We also know that Imperial isn't perfect. There’s a lot more we can do as an institution to fight systemic racism in the sector, and we’re working on it. Recently we've introduced new scholarships and mentoring for Black students to help dismantle barriers to applying.
