Summit Center for Education, Research, and Training

SCERT is a multidisciplinary research facility located in Montreal’s Summit School (Ville Saint Laurent), a cutting-edge educational setting that serves over 600 students with neurodevelopmental conditions (NDCs) aged 4 to 21 years.

our history

SCERT is dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals with NDCs by advancing scholarly knowledge regarding best practices in teaching and learning, communicating research findings to participants and their families, clinicians, scholars, and policy makers, and translating research findings into meaningful clinical and educational practices for students with NDCs. In line with this mission, the SCERT team works with interested research scholars to streamline the “proposal to published paper” process by providing access, expertise, and efficient research co-ordination.

Our Facilities

SCERT can offer interested research scholars access to various resources, including an on-site research coordinator, a meeting room, a clinical assessment room (outfitted with a two-way mirror), and testing rooms (including four workstations with computers).
