Rachel Behar is an Associate in Vedder Price’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Investment Services group.
Ms. Behar concentrates her practice on representing private and registered investment funds, investment advisers, broker-dealers and financial institutions in a variety of legal, regulatory, formation, governance and compliance matters. She frequently assists private equity clients in fund formation matters, and works with them to structure and document private investment fund complexes.
Ms. Behar has significant experience in regulatory and compliance matters affecting investment advisers. She also counsels clients responding to examinations and investigations conducted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal and state regulatory agencies.
Ms. Behar received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. While in law school, Ms. Behar served as Editor-In-Chief for the International Comparative, Policy & Ethics Law Review, now known as the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review.
