Score gap between high-performing (top 10 percent) and low-performing (bottom 10 percent) U.S. 8th-greaders was 256 points. Larger than the gap in most education systems.

Scores are reported on a scale of 0 to 1,000. See Figure M2b of the TIMSS 2019 U.S. Highlights Results.
