Sneha Nyshadham maintains a broad practice spanning patent litigation, patent prosecution, and strategic intellectual property counseling, where she focuses primarily on technologies in the computer and electrical industry.
Sneha focuses on patent prosecution matters, including responding to office actions and drafting patent applications. She also assists with post-grant proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) for companies in the electrical and computer technology space.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Sneha gained legal experience through several internships, including at a global telecommunications equipment company where she assisted with client counseling matters, prepared claim charts, and collaborated with outside counsel to update outside counsel guidelines. Through another position at Equip for Equality, Sneha answered and reviewed intake calls from parents with children with disabilities, drafted legal advice for parents with a supervising attorney, and visited schools to ensure their compliance with special education law.
Sneha gained her technical experience with front end technologies through internships with a multinational software and energy company. She created a recruiting application to keep track of products and customer transactions on the cloud using Salesforce software. Sneha also developed web applications for customer transactions and wrote automated tests for the customer products’ user interface. Her technical experience further extends to computer architecture, a skill she became familiar with while interning with a digital transformation software company and working with Spinnaker and Jenkins technologies.
Pro bono work is an integral aspect of Sneha’s legal practice. She is currently working on a defensive asylum case for a client who is seeking refuge in the United States from Nigeria.
